Multi-media conversations in one social app

Much like Vine and Instagram, #Pop lets you post images or videos to a stream. The most unique feature of the app, however, is the combination of multi-media you can use to create an interactive post. You start with an image, video, or GIF, the first two from which you can either upload from your photo album, or take using the app. There is a bank of GIFs in #Pop that you can choose from, either from standard categories, or using the search option. Then, you can add a second image, video, or GIF to the post, as well as text.
Once you publish the #Pop, it'll appear in your stream, as well as the home stream. To see the entire graphic, you'll have to hold down on the first image to see the second one. People can comment, like or share your #Pop on Facebook, Twitter or through email. Showcasing its interactivity, you can comment on #Pop graphics with other images.

You can add people to #Pop by searching through Facebook, Twitter, or your address book. Much like Vine, if you don't have many friends using the network, you'll get a stream of posts that are 'featured', or picked by editors.
Because the app is optimized for iPhone 5, and it's heavy on media, might be a bit clunky on older iOS models.
Worth a try?
The idea of adding GIFs to images is interesting, given their massive popularity online, but it's seems like less of a social network than a novelty. Clever #Pops seem less frequent than clever Vines, for example, and from what I've seen so far, GIFs might actually limit the creativity of users. But, it's uniqueness is thanks to its ability to let you combine images, videos and GIFs in one post, something unavailable on other social networks, so it may just be worth giving it a try!
